Through our innovative rent-based home financing scheme called RENT TO OWN, we offer a faster, more accessible path to homeownership than traditional methods.

With operations in Zambia and Botswana and expansion into Malawi, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa, our portfolio includes public-private partnerships such as the BONNO National Housing Scheme in Lerala Village, a housing development between MENDEZ ESTATES and the Government of the Republic of Botswana, as well as bespoke residential developments for private and corporate clients in both Botswana and Zambia.

Recognizing that the dignity of all humans begins at the family level, it therefore makes both moral and business sense for MENDEZ ESTATES to contribute to the fight against indignity caused by societal poverty by providing social housing assistance payment plan services to people in low to medium-income households across the country.

This is because we understand that poverty is not only hunger; poverty is a lack of shelter. And, a nation’s poverty begins at the family level, when a family, which is the bedrock of a nation, does not own a home of its own to run home to for shelter, dignity, and stability.
